Inspiration: The person in photo 4 and his image, by Lorin Morgan-Richards, receive all inspirational credit for the Cheyenne earring. I was merely a conduit for its creation. I saw the photo and it completely captivated me. I cannot decipher what his earrings were made of but he was from the Dalles-Oregon area, where a lot of body adornments were made near the Columbia River. It is highly possible the discs were made out of bone [which would have been even cooler for the Cheyenne] as the coloration appears to be lighter than silver.
